The organization was originally started in just producing and trading PVC shrinkable materials. It has grown significantly and since developed all other relevant areas of business such as other types of materials, production machinery, printing/converting all types of films, material/waste recycling, and environmental engineering.

New Solid and its group of companies have several factories in Taiwan and Mainland China, and agents/representations in various countries throughout the 5 continents in the world.

New Solid's new China plant, Xiamen Solid Plastics Technology Co., Ltd. in Xiamen City, is proud to have been set up at the end of 2003.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
New Solid and its associate companies provide a wide range of products and services. They can be categorized as three main areas : heat shrinkable plastic products, machinery and environmental engineering. Time and effort have been input to research and develop new items. We now have U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and UL (Underwriting Laboratory) products and equipment.

OEM (original equipment manufacturers) and contractors are used in some products, as a common practice of other large companies around the world. However, the final products are mostly finished in-house at New Solid, and all of the products are subject to the strict quality control system to bear the New Solid mark. We have successfully added POF shrinkable film to our product range. Currently projects have been undertaken to examine and research in producing PET materials and shrinkable film. It is estimated that products in this new material will be available to our customers in the near future.
